Every decision we make — how we price, how we present, how we communicate — comes back to one question: if we were the brand owner, would we be proud of how our products are being handled?
That’s not a marketing line. It’s the standard we hold ourselves to every single day. It’s why our partners stay with us, and why brands refer us to other brands they know and trust.
How it started
A Virginia entrepreneur who saw a gap and filled it.
My name is Zahor Safa, and I’m the founder of SAFA LLC — a distribution company based in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I started this business because I kept seeing the same thing: quality brands being handled carelessly by Amazon sellers who only cared about moving units.
Price dumping. Unauthorized listings. Stock photos that looked nothing like the real product. Brands with real stories behind them being reduced to a number on a spreadsheet. It bothered me — because I knew that as a consumer, I bought brands, not just products. And brands deserved to be treated that way.
“If I was going to carry a brand on Amazon, I was going to carry it properly or not at all.”
So I built SAFA around the opposite of everything I’d seen done wrong. We move slowly and selectively. We work with a small number of brands at a time. We treat every partnership like we’re a member of that brand’s own team — because in a real sense, on Amazon, we are.
Today, SAFA Distribution is a fully licensed and registered US business — with a Virginia resale certificate, a federal EIN, a professional Amazon seller account in good standing, and a reputation we protect with everything we do.

Integrity above margin
We will never compromise a brand's pricing, reputation, or channel relationships to make a sale. If following the rules means we make less money on an order, we follow the rules. Full stop.

Radical transparency
We tell brands what's working and what isn't. We share our metrics, our sell-through rates, our challenges. The only way a real partnership works is if both sides are honest with each other.

Small by choice
We deliberately limit how many brands we work with at any one time. Scale for its own sake doesn't interest us. Doing a small number of things exceptionally well does.

Long-term over short-term
Every decision we make is filtered through one question: does this help the brand in the long run? Not just this quarter. Not just this sale. The long run.

You always know what's happening
We communicate proactively — not just when things go wrong. Our brand partners never have to chase us for updates. We come to them first.

We take responsibility
When something goes wrong — and occasionally things do — we own it, we fix it, and we make sure it doesn't happen again. No passing blame, no excuses.
